dotVault is a digital platform that gives you access to banking, payments, and value-added services in one place.

You can check the app version by double-clicking the dotVault logo in the app.

Step 1: Download the App – Install 'dotVault by Amber Fintech' from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Step 2: Grant Permissions – Allow the app access to your camera, location, and notifications. Step 3: Agree to Terms – Read and accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Step 4: Join – Click the 'Join Us' button and follow the on-screen prompts. Step 5: Verify Contact Info – Confirm your contact details to ensure the registration information is correct. Step 6: Provide Address – Enter your current residential address for verification purposes. Step 7: ID Information – Input your South African ID or Passport details and take a clear photo of the document. Step 8: Identity Verification – Take a selfie while holding your ID document just under your face. Step 9: Review Period – Once submitted, your documents will be reviewed within 1 to 2 business days.

When you open the app to log in, select the Forgot Password option. After entering your email address, you will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Once in your Vault, the Add Product option will be available as the first tile option, or to add additional products, you can also use the menu in the top-right corner.

Go to your profile in the app, go to “My Things”, then select “Docs & Photos” and tap “Add New”. You’ll see a list of document types you can upload, choose the relevant option, such as ID Document or Proof of Address. Follow the simple prompts to take a photo and upload your document.
